Shanghai Metallurgical & Mining Machine Manufactory (S4M) was established in 1959 and specializes in manufacturing mechanical equipment for metallurgy, mine, environmental protection and general use. Over 4 decades, S4M has produced dozens of tons of good quality mechanical equipment for China’s economic construction and had successful cooperation with America’s CE, Sweden ABB Group, Japan’s MHI, Japanese KAWASAKI Heavy Industry, Germany’s SIEMAG, Germany’s DEMAG, Italy’s ANSALDO-GIE, Britain’s AAF, France’s Alstom and Denmark’s Flsmidth Airtech etc. With its remarkable achievement, it enjoys good reputation both at home and abroad. S4M’s products are sold in nearly 20 countries and regions, such as America, Britain, Japan, Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, Nigeria, Indonesia, India, Thailand and Taiwan etc. In 1993, S4M acquired the right of importing and exporting products by itself. In 1997, it passed ISO 9001 quality management and quality assurance certification. The upgraded edition of ISO9001-ISO 2000 was implemented in 2004.

  

S4M covers an area of 134 thousand square meters, including 62 thousand square meters construction area. Its registered capital is 94.94 million RMB and the net fixed asset is 53.216 million RMB. It has 5 production workshops and 380-odd machines, CAD/CAM and HP computer-supportive design and management system, processing center, digit control cutting, large hobblers and other key equipment. The biggest production shop is 3.6 thousand( 120×30m) square meters, the 17.6m rail is equipped with 75t hoisting equipment. Having a good geographic location and easy transportation, S4M is situated in the north of Shanghai.
